New user questions

Just signed up on PF. Seriously considering the 645Z. I have been a working pro for 25+ years. I'm not really familiar with Pentax or Pentax lenses.

Here is my question, I'd like to look at purchasing some "older" lenses to work with this 645Z for starters. I'd like a range from wide to telephoto. Can someone with Pentax lens knowledge guide me to which lenses to look for and which to avoid.

This camera sounds outstanding! A very appealing price to step into MF digital.

When you buy second-hand, A and FA lenses are quite affordable.

Lenses I'd personally recommend are the 25mm DA (yes, it's costly, but no older equivalent exists) or 35mm A, 55mm DFA, 120mm A macro, and 400mm FA. If you want something in between, the FA 45-85mm zoom is also a good choice. All these lenses are listed in the database I linked above
