Just wanted to say hi, I've been lurking here for a while; reading post and reviews.
But finally decided to sign up.

I own a K1000 and a K-30 at the moment.

I currently live in the Charlotte NC Metro area.
I've been using the K-30 for about a year coming over from Canon and have been loving it. Considering upgrading to the K-3 next year (or this year maybe) to take on a trip possibly to Ireland or Arizona for vacation.

The K-3 is really wonderful, you won't be sorry if you get one. Not saying the K30 isn't great, though - it's still one of the best.

I work for a German company (located between Heilbronn and Nuremburg)
I've had the pleasure of visiting a few time, but never gotten to the north yet. But I will one day, until then I have loved the Franconia/Bavarian area.

Thanks for the kind words about my photos. It's a very expensive hobby, but I love it none-the-less

Thanks for the kind words.

I really love my K-30...I did buy the white body, so other than when I'm at an event and it sticks out over all the standard black bodies...it's been a great camera.
Coming from a Canon 7D, it takes as good of photos...this could be more the operator than the camera...but I won't complain about the lighter weight in my bag and still having weather sealing.

Arizona and Ireland are not often spoken of as alternative vacation destinations! The histograms would look very different.
