hi new member

Hi Everyone,
Nice to have a forum just for us Pentaxians. While I am still shooting in the old SLR world of Pentax. I plan updating to the DSLR world of the K100d.
I hope to learn from everyone.

Hi, I just dropped by to see how the site works and it looks nice, is set up very well, but your server is seriously slow.

Hope to meet new people and see some old friends!

The server speed problem has been fixed- however, the forum skin is full of images, so if that's being slow, please switch to the low-graphics skin here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/index.php?styleid=4

Thanks for dropping by- I hope you like everything, and I hope this community grows full of Pentax fans

Yes it will be interesting to see what "levels" of discussion we get to. Plenty of "contrast" in the membership should see some "colourful" threads, just hope the memberships' "brightness" is sufficient for that. Have a look around to get yourself into the "frame" of mind for discussion.

(Sorry)

Hopefuly there will be room and space for all levels. I've had a 35mm since I was about 14, a camera since in my hands since I was about 10 and a digital since 1995 and I still consider myself a beginer.

Hi new member

I want to say Hello to all of our new members and welcome to a very great new forum. As you can see by the layout there is room for all of our Pentax discussions, Mo (Adam) is a very good Host He gets things done here as quickly as he can. (we all thank him for that). I hope to get to know all of you and would like very much to see your posted work.

Good Shooting and Cheers:
David

Hi all, I'm a new member too. I've been looking for a good Pentax forum, and this one seems to fit the bill. Hope it takes off in leaps and bounds!

My first 35mm was a Pentax K1000 back in the day, and I absolutely loved it. Photography seemed to fall by the wayside after awhile, and I'm just starting to get back into it. I got a K100D a couple weeks ago, and love it. I haven't even come close to figuring everything out, but I'm getting there.

Looking forward to talking to everybody.
