Hello - Just Converted

I'm late to the digital game -I just bought a K-5 ii a couple of days ago (I was a dedicated rangefinder addict, and film only). The guy I bought it from actually directed me to these forums. I've done some playing around with it, and I'm understanding why there is such a devoted following to these cameras!

Welcome aboard! It will work just like your film camera, those instincts will let you take manual control - or at least TAv, my most-used mode.

Welcome fellow k5ii'er. I know you're going to love using that camera. I've had great fun, learning to use mine over the last few months. Still alot to learn, but as I say. It's great fun. And the Pentax people in this forum are outstandingly friendly and offer fantastic advice.

Oh, my rangefinder is near and dear to my heart �� And my Leica was brought over by my grandfather when he immigrated to America, so that baby is under lock and key and will need to be pried from my cold dead fingers!
