Hi Michel, and welcome to Pentax Forums. We have other users here with K20Ds and A-series lenses, including me, even though I have other later models. Please enjoy your time here.

Welcome aboard! Did you install a split-focus screen in your K20? I had one in my K10 which helped a lot with manual focus.

Welcome to the forum, I recently acquired one of these myself and she soon became known as my "femme fatale".

No I have't install a split focus cause I I'm not aware of what kind of screen could help me in manuel focus.
May be you can tell me exactly the kind of focus you have install and i can have a look on the web ?
Ps : I have bought the smc Pentax A macro F2.8 : it's akiller (for the quality but also for the wallet ...)
Best .
Michel.

There are a few split-focus screens, the one I used was from Jinfinance, via Ebay.

Here's a recent thread about the subject.
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/6-pentax-dslr-discussion/272091-split-ima...een-k-5-a.html

They're cut-down screens from the older SLRs, and work that way - you see what the autofocus sees and line up the images.
