Chinon m42 135

Hi There From BRIANO,.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY experience OF USING A 135 2.8 m42 lens on a Spotmatic F.
What sort of quality were the pictures.

PS - from my experiences, most Chinon lenses in M42 are only average in IQ.

Hi Thanks for your reply. Which Chinon lenses have you had experience of?
I have been told that chinon lenses were made by pentax and the 55mm 1.7 lens is very sharp.

Salut,

I had once a copy of the M42 135/2.8 and did not think too much about it. Somewhere I still have a Chinon 200/3.5that I need to test further ...

I do have a nice K-mount Auto Chinon 50/1.4 ... it's hard to goof up a fifty in my books.

I have never heard about Pentax making lens for Chinon. Tomioka has been said to have made lens for them.
