Hello new Pentax user

Hello

My name is Rabecca I am fairly new to Pentax cameras I was a Canon girl prior for 7yrs so still trying to learn the settings and lens compatibility with my Pentax K-30 WP camera..

I currently have been trying to find out about a couple lenses to see if they are compatible however my posts are no longer showing from a few days ago... not sure why this would be...

It shows I have no posts when I know it did post

I asked about a Sigma 75-210 lens which I since found out from Sigma is compatible just needed to switch focal ring to A

As for the Haminex 35mm f/2.8 I still have no answers B&H says is should be a K lens and should work the back mount part looks different than my sigma and my pentax kit lens ; /

anyone here familiar with using Haminex lenses on K-30 body? do I need an attachment or connect direct? I don't want to mess up my sensors on my body as I have done this years ago with my film camera put my mother in laws lens on my camera body messed up my sensors...

I also have been trying to find out when one would use a converter lens, i was looking at this one in my area Chinon Pentax 2x converter

Welcome to the forum, I tend to only use tele convertors as a real last resort, as there is usually some IQ degradation.
