hello

My name is Dan and I am from Arizona. I am new to photography and don't know what I'm doing. I have a K20D now with just only the body, kinda short on cash now so have to wait to get the lens. Hope to learn much more from you guys as I have no clue in photography .

Hi Dan. I don't know much about photography either and I own a K10d. However, I do have a few lenses so i think you should send me the K20 to break in until you get a lens. Just kidding. I think you will find a wealth of info here and congrats on the new purchase.

Half of the lens' I have were like $20 bucks from eBay. That'll get you started.

If you're looking for a good site to learn the fundamentals of photography, check out Digital Camera Tips and Reviews: Photonhead, The Essence of Modern Film and Digital Photography

That site helped me learn when I started in Oct 2007, particularly the CamSim section.

thanks for all the warm welcome. User440, i checked out Ebay and it definitely don't have $20 lenses...hehe...maybe you forgot a "0" in there.

I'll definitely check out that photography site dosdan, thanks. Just ordered pentax 18-55mm II from Amazon. Couldn't wait to get it.
