G'day from Down Under - Sydney

I jumped into the Pentax Pond with a K20D just over 3 weeks ago, after shooting Nikon for some 30 ++ years . Not a religious fanatic, so still retain a couple of F mount bodies and lots of glass.
Shot a one lens wedding just over a week ago with the K20 and Tammy 18~250, and am happy with my choice.

Main reason was I wanted more pixels for my panos, and the K20D represents the best bang for buck right now!

Anyways, thought I would say hi to this amzing global community after reading some of the other intros

Shalom, Peace, Cheers to everyone

Welcome Sergei from here in the West.
This is probably the best and friendliest forum for Pentax People.
That sounds very catchy, doesn't it - "Pentax People"!

Thank you Garth,

love your fair city, enjoyed my visits in 98 and 99, took my boys down to the Speedway in Bunburry on both occasions, great sprintcar action!
Love the markets in Freemantle too!

Thanks mate, Illawarra is a bit closer!
Love the South Coast, spent many a summer camping around Stanwell Tops,
still do a bit of bush bashing from time to time, did an overnight hike at Kosciusko over Easter weekend, got some nice panos

Aussie icons

Thanks guys!

"..and please post some of those beaufiful Pano's..."

Rick,
here's one from January last year, sums up our laid back lifestyle I think,
and one that Lithos and Ash can relate to

Hi and welcome Sergei. You picked a fine camera to become a Pentaxian.
I'm also in Sydney, north of the harbour.

Thanks mfc,

the rationale for me was finally, more resolution for large fine art prints at a favourable price point, the feature set was also important.
