Hello from Sydney, Australia new 645Z

After many years I've returned to Pentax with the quantum leap of buying a 645Z. Extremely happy so far particularly as the lenses I had for my 645 are all still in good order and work very well on the 645Z. Thanks Pentax for being true to your roots where you can.

Welcome aboard! Re-entering the Pentax world with style - I like it!

The Z will be just a dream for me. The cost isn't that much of an issue any more (hey, who needs a car, right?), but the system would be too heavy for my use. And, really, my talent wouldn't do it justice anyway!

Good to have you with us!

That's exciting, Iridedaily. If it's bicycles, you must be quite a sight with thousands of dollars in your panniers and tripod dragging along the road behind you!

Hi All,
Thanks for the replies. Yes the camera is great and thankfully all of the lenses that I've had for a number of years work a treat. The 645Z is a great tool but like all tools it has to be used properly to get the best from it. It's almost a couple of months now and I'm still learning.
One thing I did do the other day was adapt the 645Z body to my Toyo Technical camera. The system works very well and I'm looking forward to doing some Tilt Shift work.
You can read about the project here.
The finished assembly is shown below.

The first image shot is here, a vertical pano

Welcome aboard,

You'll have to join the Sydney Pentax Users meetup group so we can all get a look at your setup.
I'd love to see that 645Z / toyo kit in action.
