Greetings from England

Hi folks

I'm a Pentaxian living near Bath, England. I stumbled upon this forum whilst researching feet for the Q to K adaptor that I've just ordered. They're even harder to find over here! Feeling rather excited at the prospect of some adventurous 2800mm equiv photography once I connect up my SMC 500mm F4.5, IF I can mount the thing....

I mostly use my K-5II with a K-01 back-up and I'm a fan of Limited primes, the FA77 being my favourite. So, I hope to chat with some of you soon.

Had a chuckle when I saw the username. Welcome to the Pentax Forums, Spaceman Spiff! Had your Bath water lately?

Welcome to the forums.

I had a most epic pub crawl in Bath, when some local buddies showed me around for a long weekend. Although I can't remember it all that clearly, heh... and they somehow forgot to show me the roman baths! But I did get one of the best fish and chips and got an appreciation for rugby. So, all in all they chose the highlights rather well.
(I came back for those baths another time)

Quite a picturesque place you got there.

Hello to Bath

Welcome to the forum . . . been to Bath too, nice stay in bed and breakfast there.

I have the K-1, K-5II, and just sprang for the K-3, which I am in the process of learning. I have the 77 and 43 and wishing for the 31! I would say you are properly equipped to document and share Bath with us!

So that is the true meaning of "point & shoot". It finally makes sense now.
Though "point & shoot & pray real hard" may be technically more descriptive.

Hi Undot. Yep, the pubs are good here, and plenty of good photo ops too. Unfortunately the former is not entirely compatible with the latter

Thanks for the welcome Sadly I haven't yet managed to get across to the US, but I fully intend to. Either that or point my big lens in your direction to take a look...

Hi Kerrowdown! Blind faith works wonders for me. And what's wrong with point and pray? It's my standard technique
I used to live in Edinburgh btw, so I know North Britain well. Errr, I mean Scotland.
Beautiful place!

Careful... some of us are a tad sensitive just now about such matters.
