today i'm looking for information about remote operation from a pc, i'd like to mount my k-30 on a small telescope

Welcome to PentaxForums!

There are some programs out there that can control Pentax cameras from a PC, but I haven't used them yet. You could have a look at pkTriggerCord or PK_Tether (that one doesn't mention your K30 but may work).

I use Triggertrap to connect my camera to my smartphone. You need a special cable for that but it's not too expensive. It's only a kind of cable remote but you can use all the phones sensors to trigger a photo.

Hello everyone, I've been shooting with only a Pentax K5 and a 50 mm f2.8 macro lens (nothing else) in the last three years, and I've been loving my photography experiences as a result.

Welcome to the forum, I really think we need to help you spend some more money on lenses, feed your LBA.

i'm looking for pktriggercord, but i have issues making it work on windows7 x64, particulary GTK+ 32 or 64 bits and the right installation option
