Just like to introduce myself. I'm an amateur who started a long time ago using film and eventualy ended up with a Pentax KM camera. This was the begining of my long association with Pentax. Some years ago I upgraded to a K100D that still serves me well. Hoping to pick up some good tips and tricks from the more experienced on here.Already had a browse around and based on what I have learned have bid on and won a Pentax M 50mm F1.7 lens on E bay. Eventually once I get my skills honed up a little more I intend to upgrade again and will stay with Pentax I'm sure.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am having a good browse around the various sections and am learning quite a lot about these DSLR cameras. Since my first post I have become the proud owner of a K500D. I only bought the body so it came well within my budget. Now just waiting until i can get out and take some shots.
