Nice to be home again

I've had various Pentax's in the film days and had to sell all my gear for financial reasons.
Just got myself a used Pentax K200D with an SMC FA 28-80 3.5-5.6 and a DA L 50-200 4.5-5.6 WR.
Just thought I'd introduce myself!
So happy I'm back as a Pentaxian

Welcome and enjoy the forum! The K200d is still a very capable camera. I look forward to see some of your shots

Thank you for the welcomes

I had a FujiFilm HS20 EXR Bridge camera before and took some award winning photos with it so I'm really looking forward to my much bigger sensor K200D's capabilities.

I will definately be posting shots on here and welcome constructive criticism too.

I couldn't pass on the price for the original camera package.
body was $150
SMC FA 28-80 and Sigma DL 100-300 was $60 inclusive.
The Sigma wasn't sharp enough so grabbed the DA L 50-200 WR on clearance for $129.

Welcome back to Pentax!

The 28-80 is not a bad lens but you can get even better results without spending a lot of money, that's the beauty of Pentax - all those old lenses waiting to be grabbed
