Another semi-Newbie from UK

Hello everyone,

I've been a lurker for some time and just decided to join. I've had my beloved 35mm Pentax P3 since the 80s! Still works beautifully. I did a Fine Art degree in the 90s and have experimented with a range of formats but just beginning to use this camera again.

This forum has been very helpful, so thanks to all!

You don't need to get into the digital age if you don't want to

If it wasn't for my wife and kids, I'd have sold my DSLRs now and gone with film. But we need the DSLR for the family pictures and instant facebook sharing ability....

Welcome, and cheers for finally speaking up.

As long as you enjoy your medium there's no reason to change it. Using film is just a different style to paint your pictures.
(Even more so for the ones doing the whole process and develop it themselves. Always found the darkroom work immensely impressive.)
