Welcome to the forums! I haven't dared to try using any old lens yet, but you'll find loads of folks here who love the more ancient glass. I'm sure you'll fit right in.

You can find here lots of examples of old lenses, and if you need to choose a like! that would shoot straight and have a beautiful photo

Very nice stuff. I don't know what 28 you have but the 55s are all excellent and very special.

28mm is a great FL for APSC cameras, and that A50 f1.7 is a fine lens for sure.
