New K3 Owner

Hi to Pentaxians everywhere,

After many months of internet research where my head exploded several times due to the vast amount of info available, I have just bought a K3 along with these lenses: DA 50mm f/1.8, HD DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR, Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM, Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 EX DC HSM plus the kit lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR. So far I'm very happy with it!

I'm not an absolute beginner but would very much appreciate any tips, tricks and experiences good and bad that anyone has had with any of this kit.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a pretty solid kit- you've got your WR lenses, you've got your sharp zooms, and you've got a prime to start out with. I'm sure that after a while, you'll want to expand in that area, but for now, shoot away as you've gotten yourself a great combo.

This is a very good starting kit - advanced kit, really. You'll be well set for quite a while.

Wow, you didn't walk up to Pentax and ring the doorbell- you kicked the door in. Nice. Sounds like you just need to start taking pics, review the results and start seeing what went right/wrong. Plenty of info here to improve your technique. As is often said here: above all else, have fun. Congrats.
