Pentax newbie

I literally just bought a Pentax K-3 from Adorama. I have owned a Sony A55 and loved it til it died after only 18mos and currently own a Canon t3i and dislike it very much. So I had been debating for the last 2 weeks over the K3 and the Nikon d7100 and finally just bit the bullet and got the K3. I am a hobby photographer. I take pics of just about anything moving objects tend to be the most, kids and animals ya know. I am sure I have bought way more camera than I will ever use but am really looking forward to getting it.

Welcome to the forum, and the K3 sure is a fine machine...

Welcome to the Pentax forum, I am sure you have made the right choice. I see both D7100 and k-3 will satisfy your needs for a while, I also think you will likely find k-3 is more fun to use as there are still plenty of K or m42 mount manual lenses cheaply and readily available if you are so inclined to explore the fun of using manual focus lenses.
