Hello everyone! Another newbie into the DSLR and Pentax world. I received my K-50 with kit lens DAL 18-55 3.5-5.6 exactly one month ago. I'm loving it. Today I took pictures for two hours, but it was so cold that I couldn't stay longer... Now I was sitting in front of the computer, organizing pictures (deleting most of them haha) and I thought it was time to say hello

Thanks for the welcoming (if that expression is correct, hehe, not sure about that). Anyway I'm going to post a picture somewhere in the forum now so you can see my work and I can learn something. I just need to figure out where and how to do it properly.

Hi,
I also have the K-50 mine came with the 18-135, now moved up to K-3 but K-50 still in regular use.

Do you like that lens, the 18-135? And how it is going with the K-3?

I like the 18-135 a lot, the motor focus is silent and way faster than I'd expect. It also seems to track better - I've got lots of running dog pictures.
The 135 is plenty of reach for 80% of normal photography too. I'm a fan of this lens. It's not perfect but it's very good.
