Hello from the Frozen Tundra!

Just saying hi to the Forum...my focus is wildlife photography, particularly images from my Environmental Center on the bluff above Lake Michigan. We see a lot of migratory bird species, so I'll post a few of these in the coming days!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! BHB

Welcome aboard!
I look forward to seeing some nice pictures.
I'm in Northern Illinois, on the Fox River which is a nice migratory path. We get lots of birds coming through, the only limiting factor is time!
I'd like more people to get out and see what we have, so we can protect it.

We are on the Wisconsin side at Concordia University Wisconsin, north of Milwaukee. Great place to get shots of migratory species. We have had several new species spotted here for the first time in the Great Lakes region, such as the Inca Dove (photo credit: Dennis Freriks), which has never been seen this far north before (normal habitat is Texas and south). I hope to be active in posting some of these in the next few months.. BHB

Hi! Welcome I'm starting to think that we should have a Frozen fingers club for all of us northbound photographers. We don't have much wildlife where I live, just reindeer. And seagulls. We've got lots of those.
