Hello from Czechia!

My name is Peter and I live in Czech Republic, in a small village not far from Prague - our capital.

For many years I was been shooting various film SLRs. Later Canon350D, NikonD80.
Now again searching for change I found PENTAX K20D. Looks to me like really fascinating camera.

I am reading various Pentax forums and choosing your forum as I consider it as exceptionally friendly and helpful place.

(Sorry for funny English - I am a permanent beginner).

My very best wishes to all!

Peter Erbak

Welcome to the forum. Most helpful, friendly bunch of photographers I have found.

Moved from K100D to K20D this week. Amazing camera!

Welcome Peter. I wish I had visited Praga BEFORE it became such a tourist favourite.

Was it taken with 70 Ltd? Are you using spot metering?

Thank you Anne,

Prague is really very photogenic.
Just - I was mostly shooting dogs. Especially border collies. And cats.

Tons of pictures on my web site were taken by Canon350 and Nikon D80.
K20D should be born sometimes this summer.

PS: "Panda vodní" means "Water Panda" in Czech.

Sigma 70-300mm APO. Yes, spot metering to lift the whole car away from its surroundings.
I have metering point locked to AF point. I should tell more people how effective this is to highlight a subject.
