Hello from Oz

Howdy folks, I have been a registered user for a while, but have never introduced myself before.

My father was a keen photographer, but I had always thought shutter-speeds, exposures and f-stops were way too confusing.

I have recently turned to photography as a therapeutic outlet, and am finding it fascinating.. and a steep learning curve.

What I use:
- Pentax K20D
- Pentax 50mm SMC-FA f/1.7
- Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF
- Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC
- Vivitar DF-383-PEN flash

G'day mate! - - did I pronounce that correctly? Hello from MessyChewBits. Digital camera instruction books, or CD's, can be intimidating. Standard advice: learn just enough to get going, go take pictures and add knowledge as needed. Don't try to master or even remember all the options at once.
