About to buy a K-3, but found a K5-IIs at a bargain price - which one?

Thanks in advance

They are basically almost the same thing. Get the k-5IIs I'd say.

Although similar the K-3 is an improvement over the K-5 especially in ergonomics. The grip is much deeper and is more comfortable but then I have long fingers. Also the placement of the AF button is in a more comfortable reach for my thumb. For me the improved AF and higher frame rate is useful for birds in flight and other wildlife. Best to handle each in the store to see which one suits you. Just my 2d.

Welcome to the forum, both are great cameras, if the difference in price means maybe you can get another lens I'd go that route, unless of course your already "lensed out".
