Moved to Michiana, looking for winter shots

Recently moved to Northern Indiana. Would really like to get into some winter photography, so let me know if you know of any cool places!

The Indiana Dunes are pretty cool anytime of year, some unique ecosystems there.

yeah, it's amazing the sand has apparently covered trees and probably buildings which slowly rot away and eventually just collapse.
There area also some cool parks all along Michigan's west coast, also lots of dune beaches there, and some very pretty woods.

Indiana's Chain of Lakes park is pretty too, I've never been there in winter though.

The drive up to Traverse City can be beautiful at any time, but I am not sure I would attempt it in winter.

OK, not Northern Indiana but Illinois' Starved Rock State Park can be really pretty in the winter, if the conditions are right - enough water and cold enough to freeze the waterfalls.

Welcome to the forum, just get out there and go the opposite way to everyone else and that way... you get original imagery.
