Asahi Spotmatic to K-x to K-3

"I just bought a new camera!" ... clapping hands and dancing wildly around the room! Adorama has the K-3 with grip and flu-card for $826. I am hoping to have it by Friday. I first started taking pictures on my Dad's Spotmatic. He bought it when he was stationed in-country in Vietnam. A few years ago I was finally able to plunk down some cash and bought a smoking hot red K-x. My students love the color. I am so excited about a new camera! I can't wait to take it out for a spin!

Hey, I had a fire red K-x, too, and everyone noticed it. They called me the red camera guy. Like you, I also took a leap this Black Friday--to K-5 IIs. Couldn't be happier. From a new member to another--welcome to the forums!
