Hello from Sydney

Hi all, just wanted to say hi from Sydney. It seems there are quite a few Aussies here.

This forum has been a great help already and I only just joined a couple of days ago. Soon I will be a new owner of a K20D with my lens choices of a Sigma 17-70mm and a Pentax 55-300. (if it ever gets to Australia). Have now had to add a Tamron 18-250mm to the list as well as both other lenses are proving a bit hard to get and I am too eager to wait for backorders before I can start playing.

Oh and thankyou in advance to everybody who answers/helps with all the questions I am going to have while learning/playing with my new toy.

Hi Ingrid, the K20D and 18~250 make for a mighty combo, just returned from the central coast shooting with it all weekend.
Enjoy - and start posting pics

Welcome to the forums Ingrid ... good to see another member from Sydney.
Everyone seems to be from Melbourne though.

Looking forward to seeing some pics from your new toys.

Great to hear just what the local camera shop will do. I for one look forward to seeing your work with the K20.
