Greetings from Texas

Waiting on my k50 to arrive, been out of photography for about 30 years. Ready to get back into it. Will be a big adjustment from my K1000.

Welcome, we live near Austin. I went from a K1000 to a K3 it might be a learning curve on that, but it's a fun one.

Welcome! I have family from various parts of Texas, though I myself have yet to visit. I am afraid I would never leave-- after seeing the movie "Crazy Heart" with Jeff Bridges (shot in NM and TX), and being a country girl myself who is more comfortable on horse than my own two feet... It is a gorgeous area, and I look forward to the photos to come. :-)

Welcome to the forum. You'll get lots of solid advice here, want it or not. And do enjoy the Polar Vortex we just sent you from the Canadian Arctic.
