Hello

Hello to all members.
I have just signed up to join in the fun. I have just purchased a K3 but have had a film Pentax MX for well over 30 years.
Way back in the 60's I was a fashion photographer's assistant at Fleetway Publications, just off Fleet Street, London. I am now learning the complexities of digital photography after a long rest from doing it as a hobby.

Welcome to the forums! Glad you joined us here. Actually digital photography is easier in many ways than the film cameras. It's wonderful to be able to instantly see your images, and of course to manipulate them on the computer, rather than spending hours in a darkroom!

The K3 will give you very advanced opportunities for your new venture into digital; please share some with us, on the forums!

Welcome to the forum, it's really not that different, just don't going trying to squeeze the film in the back of the camera.

Do you still have any fashion images from the 60s to share with us here, now that really would be interesting to see.

Thank you Kerrowdown,
Sadly all the material was the copywrite of Fleetway Publications (and others) but I may have a couple of shots taken in the studio about 1965, of us working; I will look them out.
