Anyway.. welcome..... my uncle and cousins used to live in Seattle, I've been there a few times. As mentioned, it'a great place to have a camera.

Wow, lots of love for the Emerald City. Not that I'm struggling with inspiration (especially in the first couple weeks with my camera), but does anyone have any good subject/location tips for me?

Well, for me; I always loved taking photos down on the waterfront in Seattle. If you are more inclined for "people" pix, the Pike's fish market can give you some great shots.

That might be interesting, but still others may be taking pictures of you taking pictures of others. The pictures could look like looking into a fun-house mirror.

(I have that exact picture myself. )

I realize this is a "grass is always greener" issue, but I can't imagine ever running out of things to photograph in Seattle.
