Howdy all, Old Newbie just signed up and need to reacquaint (if there is such a word) with Pentax 35MM SLRs

Historically owned Spotmatics and ME Super , which impressed beyond belief at the time. Sadly, All were stolen from my Vehicle upon my arrival in Arizona years ago. Remember muttering to myself, "so, is this why I hear people refer to this place as the Devils Playground?"

Began a recent search around the internet to see what chance there is of replacing what I had and lost.

Lots of options for sale, but not ever having bought a Camera that way, the old "Gut feeling" kicks in and says, don't do it.

I think my action/inaction is linked to the "Truth in advertising" stuff I've been reading about.

Advertisers/Marketing people are really not all that credible in my opinion.

Yes, hope I will find what I'm looking for, or recommendations of who to Buy from, or Maybe not to buy from.

Problem I've run into over the past few weeks is seeing something advertised as "Mint" or "exceptional" and the Photographs do not back up those claims.

My cameras never have "normal use" scratches , dings and dents etc.

I've only been looking on EBAY so far , but still have high hopes of finding what I'm after.

Thanks Folks, things are looking up already.

Located an Me Super here earlier from one of the Members and this time the Gut feeling kept quiet and let me buy it.

Must be the Pentax Environment I suppose.

Now I need to find a standard F1.4 Lens.
