I found this forum as I was searching for helpful sites regarding these Pentax cameras. I believe that I've found what I was looking for. Thank you!

Since I picked up the Spotmatic to clean it, I've discovered what a great camera it is. And I haven't even put a roll of film in it yet! It was given to me last year, along with a Pentax ME Super. The ME needs attention, but the Spotmatic only needs a battery! Can someone help me find a battery for my "new" Spotmatic?

I opened my first exhibit last Friday, 16 January, in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. I am showing 13 black and white, and two color photographs. Two painters and I joined to show our work, since we are friends and have never exhibited together before. I enjoy working with film, mostly 35mm.

My uncle gave me his Nikkormat F some 30 years ago. After having it serviced, I've enjoyed it and have since collected more Nikons. My loyalty to Nikon is simply due to Providence. I recognize that over the years, people have designed and constructed many, many fine film cameras. So, I am happy to be part of the Pentax forum.

Welcome. I am in Shickshinny. Mallory RM640, but 1.5 V silver oxide batteries can be used. You can get them at almost any pharmacy.

Well, the second wind is slow in coming. I went to Radio Shack Friday to get a battery, but I was not successful. Do you have any suggestions?
