New Visitor from Cincinnati

Hi everyone. I'm a newcomer to this forum, been a photographer for many years and now retired and just playing. Tips on using DSLRs are really helpful, although I usually just read.

Welcome to the clubhouse.
I'm originally from Cincinnati, but have been in the Chicago area for almost 20 years now.

Thank!
I was born near here, then spent lots of years in NY and CA. Now I'm back. Although digital now, I remain pretty much an 'old school' photographer. Looks like there's a lot to learn here!

Yes, there's no shortage of great subjects in Cincinnati and its surroundings. Plus, it's small enough to make getting everywhere easy. Alms and Ault Parks were always among my favorite places to take photos - and visitors.

Thanks! It is interesting to see what happens when I can do whatever I want. I guess now 'the buck stops here'.
