Hi earthlings
Just recently bought my first DSLR, a used K-30 kit, which rapidly led me to the Pentax forum.
The detailed information and reviews here has been tremendously helpful.
I'm really looking forward to reading and (hopefully) learning from all you skilled folks.
My main interest are fauna and flora, specifically herptiles (reptiles & amphibians) and dragon- and
butterflies. Flowers of all kind and landscapes (which is my Achilles' heal).
For my first season I decided to start slow, gear-vice, and try to watch, read and learn. Especially
here on Pentax forum. For my K-30 I've added (for some reason I like the colours of "old" lenses better):
* SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7
* Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 AF XR Di LD Macro SP
* Tamron Adaptall 105mm f/2.5 (CT-105
)
Hopefully they shows out to be good companions when spring arrives and everything comes to life again.
Until then I'll train on, well, snow. And even more snow.
Thanks - Stefan Jr
