Happy Sunday!

Hello,

I'm a complete novice (wouldn't even dare referring to myself as a 'photographer"... ) but looking forward to lean as much as I can and just have fun!

Everyone here, was inexperienced in photography in the beginning also.

And welcome. Lots of information here, feel free to search. But, if you don't see it, feel free to ask in one of the appropriate sections. And, as always, never be too afraid to ask questions or to take a 'bad' photo. Those 'bad' photos are the best way, imo, from which to learn how to take well enjoyed ones.

Yes agreed. Personally been doing this for 5 years now and I'm stilling learning techniques and ideas quite often. Taking that first step of moving the camera out of Auto exposure mode and learning the triad of proper exposure is a big jump into the pool though.


The internet attributes Pablo Picasso as saying, “Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.”

I'd say that is very true in photography.

No... I'm refusing to even consider the AUTO mode!
