We may be marginalized in the mainstream

but I love my Pentax K100D.

I'm Leroy and hail from the city of Burlington, Wisconsin, USA (Northwest of Chicago, southwest of Milwakee).

My wife insisted that I get the K100D in November of 2006 since she knew I like to do photography but was very limited with my Sony Mavica. Since then, I'm driving my family toward bankruptcy at breakneck speed in purchasing other equipment to add on, both Pentax brand and others. (I commented to one retailer that it's probably cheaper to get hooked on crack!)

Anyway, I do this for the love of it, but hope to one day actually begin to make some small amount of money at this whether through stock photos, fine art landscape prints, weddings (ugh!), or portraits.

Anyway, I am looking forward to being able to talk with others who don't follow the heard, find great quality and value, and enjoyment using their Pentaxes.

Damn straight, Leroy. Welcome to the board. And if we are so pathetic, why're there so many other shooters desperately trying to mount Pentax lenses to their Canons
