| Hello everyone
Hi guys my name is Sascha and I'am from Germany. I'am reading for a while now through your forum and thought it might be time to join you.  Personally I've got just a point and shoot camera with the plan to upgrade to a dslr. After some reading online and visiting shops to touch some interesting cameras I came to the conclusion it would be a pentax. Even if almost everyone with a dslr i know is laughing about it. I want a weather resistant camera. Now my only problem is to choose which one... so the reading continues  greetings Sascha | |

Welcome aboard! If you choose Pentax you'll be part of the best photo forum anywhere As for which camera, all the fairly recent ones are very good. If you have to choose, spend your money on good lenses rather than the latest body. A used K-30/K-50 or K-5II would probably be the most economical way in without compromising on image quality.
