Hi,
Just wanted to say Hello and let everyone know how much I have enjoyed lurking for the last few weeks.
I am looking to upgrade my older Canon 30D and limited Canon lenses. I have been all-over the map-mirrorless(Fuji,Sony and others) and dslr.
The Pentax K3 has really caught my eye and in the number one spot right now to replace the Canon.
I hope to learn all I can from everyone and I'll try not to ask too many Pentax rookie questions!

Welcome to the forum! I'm pretty new here myself - that is after doing a good bit of lurking-learning myself! Lots of good info, helpful people and trustworthy people to buy gear from! :-)

Best of luck to you! I can vouch for the K3 for sure! We started out with a K30, were really pleased with it and decided we wanted a second body, we went with the K3 which has been really impressive!

Welcome aboard!
The K3 is quite a platform, if you're at all an outdoors person, the WR would be very attractive.

Welcome to our jungle.... and ask too many questions.. the questions take on a life of their own pretty quick, so while you may be the one who puts out the original question, often a dozen other questions get answered in the same thread. Once a thread gets started, no one knows where it might go.

Welcome to aboard HarryQ. Nice to see another one from the "Rockies" in the forum...Not sure if you knew but Microcenter at DTC carries the K-50 two-lens bundle in store stock and currently running at $499.

Welcome to the forum! Ask all the questions you want especially about how much to spend on gear. We love to spend other people's money.

Welcome aboard, I'm sure you'll enjoy the K3 should you choose to go that route.
