Hola from mexico



Im so happy that i find this site, i just bought my first dslr cam, which is the pentax K100D, i have a film slr camera too, but coz i live in a small town im not satisfied with the development work, so i decided to buy this one.
Im a amateur photographer, just started last year, and although i dont know much im willing to study and learn as much as i can. im glad for being here

hello and great to meet you!

great to have someone from your part of the globe.

looking forward to some of your "hot" photos in this cold and snowy part of the world.
we got over 36" (90+ cm) of snow since yesterday and still counting with -30 C temperature.

Hi there Janie! Welcome to the forum!

The K100D is a great camera! If your film camera was an SLR, you won't have too many problems with this camera.

I think you are looking for a photo printer now, since you mention your dislike of the developing services in your area. Still it's a good idea to keep your film camera. People here still pull them out from time to time.

Can't wait to see some more photos from a hot and sunny destination!
