Ey up! T'right?

Just popping in to say hello! I though it was about time I introduced myself!

I come from Halifax, a small industrial town in the grim north of England. I must apologies, but we don't really speak "proper English" in these parts; so my grammar is pretty horrendous and my spelling is even worse!

I've been lurking in these forums for about a year without saying too much. I really enjoy the community feel of the forum and I'm constantly blown away by the quality of pictures that users post. I'm extremely jealous of a lot of the talent that is displayed.

I'm pretty new to photography; I certainly do too much reading of theory and not enough actual shooting. This is something I plan on changing.

I have a k30, absolutely love it! Though, I'm forever eyeing up the k3!

I also have a soft spot for fuji cameras, I own an x100 and I have a very cheap xf1 on the way to me (I'd rather have had an mx-1, but they are impossible to get at a reasonable price at the moment!).

Anyways, thank you for providing a great place to hang out, fantastic discussions and so many inspirational images!

Welcome to Pentax Forums. Having spent a lot of time in North of England, I have to say it isn't all grim and the photo opportunities are boundless. Anyway, we're always pleased to welcome a reformed lurker, especially if you post some samples of your photographic work. Thanks for introducing yourself and jumping right in. Cheers.

A K30 and X100 are a pretty good combo, I think.
