Timelapse flickering

Hi, I am from Australia.
We have pentax k30 cameras,
our problem is that when we do timelapse Photography we get flickering in the timelapse.
How do we stop it from happening ???

HI and welcome to PentaxForums smelliott,

By 'flickering' do you mean in brightness? If lightening conditions are changing and your camera tries to compensate, you may well get that kind of flicering.

So, first of all ensure that you have your camera set to manual mode. You can see an example of how that works/should work here:

hi again,
with my k30 camera in video mode, it has a timelapse video mode in interval movie mode with lots of settings -- you can put it on av mode, set at F 2.8 or larger depending on your lens

Don't use the camera's built-in time lapse movie, just use the interval shooting setting and build the movie in post (google 'MakeAVI' - it's free and dead easy)
If you want smooth motion in clouds an other movie objects use a slower shutter speed.

Welcome to the forum, I'll let the clever folk here help you, as I know nothing about time lapse and I am the first to admit that.
