Wired Remote K-S2

HI, I'm new to Pentax and new to the forums, does anyone know of a wired remote control that is compatible with the K-S2? I have the IR control but really need a wired one so any help and advice would be much appreciated, Cheers

They got rid of the wired remote port on the K-S2 since it has wi-fi, so the only other option that I can see is a rig that has a cable-controlled IR remote at the end.

Triggering by phone via wifi wouldn't work for you?

It would be great to continue having wired remote as an option and not have to run down the phone battery just to get shots

I use one of those on my pentaxes, but the port for it is regrettably no longer there with the k-s2

Welcome to the forum, I know nothing of such matters, it's a good job that lots of other clever folk frequent this forum.
