New Old Guy

Hi everyone,
Just found your forum. I have been using Pentax cameras since 1972. I have accumulated a small collection of equipment. Most are Pentax Spotmatics, some which have gone thru multiple rebuilds. At present I am using a K-3 and a MZ-S for film work. After all these years I have just bought a 150mm F4 lens. Wow I don't know what took me so long. Great focal length. As a professional I took a lot of grief from the Nikon snobs and later from Cannon folks as which cameras were just not professional! All of this as I carried more equipment in my bags or less weight and never had a single complaint from a printer or any client about the quality. I hope I can provide useful insight to this forum in the future.

Welcome. Many of us enjoy using the film cameras (I have nearly 100 myself). You seem to have jumped right in with the K3, but it is good to see you still love film. Look forward to your posts. Oh, and I'm a pretty old guy myself by the way.

Welcome here, as you rightly say it's the finished images that pay the bills... not the equipment used getting them.
