Hello from Sweden

Hello all !

I'm a amateur photographer in Stockholm, Sweden. I enjoy regular photography but also have a special liking for IR, UV or full spectrum photography as well. I recently got me a Pentax K-01 that is full spectrum converted. I felt it was better with a mirrorless camera for that kind of job than sending off my K5 IIs for conversion.

I have a few lenses, mostly primes since I find them superior to zooms. Pentax DA 15mm f4 limited, 35mm f2,4 AL, 50mm f1,8 and the the newly purchased M 400mm 5,6. I also have a few Sigma's: DG 70mm f2,8 Macro, DG 70-300 f4-5,6 (only zoom I kept, like it too much ) and last but not least, 600mm f8 Mirror Tele

I love the lens database here! Has helped me a lot when seeking new lenses

/ Mathias

Välkommen Mathias!
That's some great shots and it's good to see that there is more than me in Stockholm that is using a Pentax

Welcome to the forum, I also share your view on zooms, hence maybe I'm more extreme... but I don't even own one.

Trevlig att råkas! Yes, not so often you see someone walking around with a Pentax here. I walked into a store a few weeks ago with my K-01 around my neck and when I passed the camera department a sales guy rapidly approached me and almost congratulated me on having a K-01 ! He got even more exited when I told him it was converted.. (mine is white btw, so it kind of stands out a bit.. Strange design, nice camera)

Oh, I can see that ! You seem to have a lot of nice A lenses. Since I made the switch from zooms recently I haven't really filled up the tele-end of my lenses yet.. I'm getting there My father, who have my old K-r, is now a happy camper with 5 zoom lenses.. I think he secretly hopes that I get tired of the 70-300 too
