"new" Pentax MX

Hi all,
My son is doing a photography course so I bought him an ME film SLR but they needed him to have "full" control so now he also has an MX! What lovely cameras these are. I have never had a Pentax myself but definitely wish I had met the brand years ago.
Unfortunately there was no ever-ready case with the MX. Does anyone have ideas of what is a good case to use with the MX, every-ready version or otherwise?
Thanks.
Mike

Not a full never-ready. Just a half case, but available on evilBay...

Here it is on Etsy.

Also search for a Pentax ME everready case. I think they might fit.

If I remember correctly, the MX is a little wider. Not sure if there were different versions of ever ready cases for the ME, but my MX doesn't fit the case that came with my ME.

Correct the ME case is too small, the MX is slightly bigger and has its own dedicated soft EverReady case.

Many thanks for all your thoughts. We had realised the cameras are different sizes as we now have one of each o can compare. I was hoping to sell the ME having sourced an MX to get a camera with greater control but my son has fallen in love with both, so from having no Pentax we now have two!
The half case looks expensive for what it is, but I'll put in an advert as suggested and see if anything comes up.
Cheers,
Mike

Consider one of the "holster" type cases that Tamrac or Lowe sell
Little more versatile and less in the way than a "n"ever ready case
Room for extra stuff like film or a small flash if needed too

Sounds like the way to go even though it could cost nearly as much as the camera!

that's the nature of photography,
The first camera purchase is only the tip of the iceberg.
Accessories, processing, bags, straps, lenses, filters, flashes, hard drives, you name it.
Whether you use film or digital the cost keep coming,
A good bag or case can last you through many cameras, I have a couple old Tenbas that I've carried around for 35 years or so, used them for film, 35mm & 120 SLR systems and even my 4x5 Technika has been toted in them. Still work well for my digital gear now.
I prefer a small padded shoulder bag, that I can carry more than my camera in, there is always more than the camera needed along with you. The ever-ready cases were always in the way for me.

Good point. The search changes to which shoulder bag now I think!
