Hello from Sydney

Hello Pentax forum, long time reader and follower of the lens review section, finally decided to join in on the fun. Wondering if there is an Australian group in here?

Regards,

J

Welcome to the forum, good to have you on board. There is a section for West Australian Photographers but don't think anyone has started a section for NSW as yet. might be a little project you may set yourself with.

There's no shortage of fellow Australians in the various Forums, here, but most seem content to put their oars into the broad debates, rather than gather together.

That said, several of us have hooked up on occasion, to swap stories, sites and lenses with fellow Pentax-users in our own or sometimes even other necks of the woods. So, welcome aboard, and join in the discussions!

Hi there welcome

Yes we should probably try and band together a bit from time to time. I would welcome tips and tricks from in the field minglings. It can be a lonely experience being a pentaxian when all you see is canikons

Welcome aboard, there's no special group.... as it just seems that Aussies make up at least 90 percent of the membership here already.

I'm just lucky that we Scots get on so well with our drinking buddies from "down under", they're bit slow sometimes to the bar when it's their round I noticed.

Welcome to the Forums. As you can see, there are quite a few Aussies here with a bit to say (and hopefully a lot more to say as the Rugby progresses!)

'nother Oz here.

I am yet to see a Pentax in the wild, so it's nice to know there are some out there - seem to be plenty on the forum, just never see them in the wild.

Welcome

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone =)

Last time I saw a fellow Pentaxian was on the Kuranda trails last year; haven't seen any other since. It is certainly a sea of Cannikons out there!
