Hello! I'm trying to get serious about photography. My wife used to shoot film with a Pentax SLR and develop her own pictures. I thought she would like a new camera so I got her a K10D years ago but it hasn't seen much use. I decided I would start using it. A got Tony Northrup's book and have been watching a ton of youtube video's. Since I started to show interest in photography my wife wants to take pictures, too! I'm a technical guy and she's an artist so we are enjoying figuring out how to take good pictures together.

If I ask some dumb questions on the forum please be patient with me. I'm just trying to learn. If you saw my pictures you would agree I have a long way to go! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, just make sure you get equal time with the camera, good luck with that one.

Welcome. My wife and I are both photographers and we really enjoy going out for a day and shooting. She started with my second hand k-x and the kit lens and now has a k-3 and uses primes and limited glass as well as her 18-135. It has been great fun learning together.
