Hello

Hi everyone
I am a new user and I have just bought a K-S2... my first DSLR (and SLR for that matter). I am struggling with the lingo/jargon.
I am a retired IT Manager and enjoy the technical side of things. My wife is the artistic / creative one.
I look forward to reading posts on this forum.
Thanks.
Ken

Hi Ken, and welcome to Pentax Forums.

The K-S2 is well-regarded here, so you should be able to get good advice when you need it. Don't be too concerned about the jargon – like any unfamiliar technology, you learn as you progress but a good book can help you with the physics behind the technology, as well as guide you on the artistic side. Any of Tom Ang's books on photography are helpful, I find, and I've recommended them to several of my friends when they've started out in photography.

Enjoy your time here.
