New to Pentax

I'm still Canon user, but when i saw K3 prestige edition i want to be Pentax user... One more reason to became Pentax user is all Pentax cameras, are weather sealed.

Also, is there any number (from 1-2000) that K3 prestige have on itself, becuase it's limited.

Can somebody advice me, K3, K3 II or my favorite K3 PRESTIGE EDITION??

Thanks in advance

welcome ^^
K3 & K3 prestige are the same (except for the included grip and coloring), the K3 II has pixel shift and GPS but doesn't have the built-in flash compared to the K3.
if you see a reasonable price for any K3 version, just get it !

Welcome to Pentax, whatever model you get you will enjoy it.
A word about WR borrowed and edited:

You need to have both a weather sealed camera body AND weather sealed camera lens for WR. Any of the lenses that have the * (asterick/star -- DA*) have weather seals, any lens with WR has weather seals, and any lens with AW after the name has weather seals.

AW
DA*
WR

in that order from most sealed to least

That said, even the WR lenses are capable of most showers... just don't remove te lens from the body in the field, you break the seal!

Take a look at the DA* 16-50 f/2.8, 16-85 WR, and 18-135 WR for a nice walkaround, sealed lens.

Also, NONE of the Pentax DSLR cameras or lenses are rated for water submersion. A shower, snow fall, misting.. those things are fine. However, taking it out into a lake or ocean is a surefire way to destroy your Pentax camera
Enjoy the Forum.

I switched from Canon to Pentax, and I haven't regretted it. (Well, except that Pentax's magnified Live View is not as good as even Canon's entry-level DSLR)

Welcome to the forum. Pentax bodies also have SR, to the benefit of all lenses.
