The match for it is the 50-135 f/2.8 and the 60-250 f/4 is another good WR lens too. If you don't need WR the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 is great. I wouldn't get the 28-200 lens because after using the 16-50 you're going to be very disappointed. If you're not needing a faster more pro type lens the DA 55-300 would fill in your long end well for now.

Welcome..

Where can I get a daughter like that?

I have no experience with any of those lenses but the fisheye, and the fisheye is just a hoot.

As a general rule I stay away from the big 28-200 type lenses. We have a Sigma 18-200 and it's by far our least favourite lens. It would seem to impossible to make a lens with a focal radio near 10:1 that has much to say for it optiaclly. If you're looking long zoom, I wouldn't go above the 18-135, with the 16-85 probably being the optimum. The long lens you are looking for would be the 55-300. If you want to match the quality of your 16-50, the DA* 50-135 is the companion lens for it, but it's pricey. You might be happier with something like the 100 macro in the long end, but the fisheye is a pretty good choice in the wide end.

Salut from Poitiers and welcome to PF !!!

The DA 10-17 is on my "short list" as well as the Tamron 70-200/2.8 ... both great lenses.

I could make a ton of suggestions for fixed manual lenses ... PM me if you want my "two cents".

bienvenue ^^
+1 on tamron 70-200 f2.8 or the 50-135 f2.8, zooms like 28-200 or 18-200 or not very good compare to your 16-50 !
