Another K-50 abuser

Hi all,

I'm Jon Peterson, and having failed to break my K-50 in the first 4 months I'm probably going to get on fine with it. I mainly take photos in the rain, at sea, in mountains, etc. I look forward to one day being able to afford a decent lens or two!

Jon

With the focus peaking in live view,
as well as the "catch-in-focus" or "focus-trap" technique,
manual focus lenses are quite easy to handle on the K-50.

So along with the autofocus 35/2.4 and 50/1.8,
there's a bunch of cheap but decent MF lenses you can use.

Jon, Welcome & congratulations for not breaking your K50 yet!

We'd love to see some of your images from these beautiful sounding places.

Welcome to the forum. Yes I can assure you Pentax gear can be put to quite some abuse and it is still forgiving. Enjoy your K50 and do post some photos.

Welcome, sounds like you get to some nice places, would love to see some pics. I picked up a K50 a few weeks ago and am happy with it so far, I'm sure it will meet your needs.
